pronounce: i don’t mind, but most people default to she/her which is entirely fine
etc: i’m ghirga on bsky, and picosheep on dA/FA (or cupidize for my raunchy stuff). i’m very shy but i haven’t used a small forum in a dog’s year and i’m excited to hang out!
i only played a handful of games growing up (some oddballs like sonic 2 on the game gear), and for other reasons i never really played too many until like 5 years ago. so i’m trying my best to patch the holes i’ve missed!
i like listening to podcasts when i’m at work or whenever, and audiobooks too. really into the Oz books rn!!

oouhhh i love the Oz books!!! I grew up with them and I read a lot of them... my fav char is Jack Pumpkinhead for a lot of reasons. Sometimes a family can be a giant wooden pumpkin man and the 14 year old girl he calls Father. I'm a solo game developer working on a game called MUSESTRUCK. I spend basically all my free time working on the thing, and I'm quite excited for people to see more of it when it's finished. It's a love letter to all my favorite indie and retro games, which have basically shaped who I am today.

WHO BE: Call center rep by day, fan and supporter of those who make art and experiences for others to witness and enjoy(?) by night. Been doing Extra Life charity marathon for over 15 years now, starting back when Sarcastic Gamer/Big Red Barrelcast had the reigns initially. Love all kinds of video games, and am blessed to have friendships with all kinds of rad humans, even if I have yet to share meat space with some of them.
Handle comes from a somewhat regular assurance that my birth name is, in fact, Merlin. Can count on one hand how many humans I've personally met who share my name, and I'm down to see picture of pets who bear my moniker. Or critter pictures in general, for that matter.
